Soundcloud Shoutout: bbno$

This is a new feature I will be aiming to produce twice a month that will promote an upcoming soundcloud or underground artist that I feel deserves recognition.

Who is bbno$?

Soundcloud, in my opinion, can be a breeding ground for artists with poor production quality, plain or stolen lyrics, and carbon copies. Yet like the old adage goes, there are diamonds in the rough.

If you're a fan of comedy, hip hop, and self-deprecating humour, then artists like bbno$ might just impress you. Mixing seriously impressive flows and beats with satirical and loony lyrics, bbno$ is able to create a niche in a market saturated by recycled melodies and serious lyrical compositions. I first discovered bbno$ from the outro of a YouTube's gaming channels outro, and I was honestly shocked to find something that had actual substance. He recently released a full album- "Recess"- as well, which you can find on streaming services like Spotify, showing an artists development from Soundcloud to a more legitimized platform.

I personally think that in a time like this where the charts are filled with the same old songs by the same artists over and over again, and where you'd struggle to differentiate between any young artist who sings over a club anthem, it's important to recognize unique and original content from places where you wouldn't have ever considered looking.
